kathangisip: yeah i've been the same way for most of my past trips, except for the Boracay one. A restful, relatively uneventful trip does have its perks though, I have to say. So now I don't mind if a beach trip would just have one thing on the itinerary: to bum around and be lazy! :)

Hi! We found it rather strange too (but a very fortunate kind of strange) that the weather was perfect over the long weekend when we went. Our trip took place from September 19 to September 22, and it was only on the 22nd, just as we were about to leave, that it started to rain. A friend of mine went the weekend after (Ondoy weekend) and the weather was not nice at all.

sure you came here to Boracay? It's been overcast for over a month now with rainstorms. We've had maybe 2 days of non-dark weather this month and the beaches have lots of trash dumped twice a day during high tide. No idea where this trash is coming from but its been a lot.

Oh and yes, I took that picture with my Lumix LX3, one of the best point-and-shoots out there in my opinion. In Boracay though, it's hard not to take a beautiful shot, whatever kind of camera you're using! The massive expanse of its shoreline and the beautiful blue waters and perfect sunset are just absolutely picture-perfect. :)

If you're planning on going to Bora, look into Sea Wind Resort at Station 1 - that's where we stayed and we had an amazing time! :)

ditto my friend! i was led to believe that i can only get my money's worth if i can cram all the "experiences" i can get out of a place given a short amount of time. boy, this boracay trip certainly threw me off my frenetic traveler pace! this is my most relaxing trip yet and im glad i got to share it with you guys!
